Bangladesh ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal is eyeing to visit England for treatment as he is having pain in his intestine for quite some time.
While some of the national cricketers will be starting their individual practice session from Sunday across four venues that Bangladesh Cricket Board announced to open for this purpose, it is unlikely that Tamim will be part of it in near future.
Tamim had done several pathological tests along with CT scan but unfortunately, physicians are yet to find out the reason behind the pain that is making his life miserable at times.

As a result, they are prescribing only pain killers to the experience national opener after he disclosed that this pain is quite unbearable.
‘’This pain recurred on three occasions during last one month,’’ said Tamim.
‘’It is paining even if I am sitting or lying down in the bed. Doctor advised me to get admitted in the hospital but I am unable to do that due to corona. I need to do few more tests like Colonoscopy and Endoscopy,’’ he said.
‘’In the present context apart from going to England there is no other option and I have spoken with few physicians over there [London],’’ he said.
‘’But there you need to go through 14-day quarantine but despite everything I am eyeing to go over there in the first opportunity. If that is not the case i will try to go to Thailand,’’ he said.
BCB had been preparing the roadmap for individual training for quite some time despite the fact some of the other cricketing nation already began it in their respective countries.
There has been no cricketing activity since mid-March in Bangladesh following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. While some of the other nations have been slowly getting their cricket back on track, Bangladesh haven't made much progress in this regard largely due to coronavirus situation in the country.
