Gibson urges pacers with online meet to maintain their fitness

Bangladesh pace bowling coach Ottis Gibson has urged his disciples of the pace armory through an online video conference to maintain their fitness amid the escalating corona situation of the country and the as well.
The West Indian bowling coach also conveyed his message to them about not losing patience and keeping work on their fitness.
People all around the world have remained at house arrest due to the dreadful coronavirus pandemic since the beginning of the year but the situation in Bangladesh has been staring since mid-March for which the foreign coaches of the national team confined to their respective countries.
They are partially communicating with the players through video conferencing or using other social media platforms while being away from work. Like coaching staff, players have been out of practice and playing matches for over four months due to the fear of this fatal virus contagion.
One pacer said that times will be needed for the situation to become normal, not everyone has the opportunity to practice bowling and those who have the opportunity are given some task.
“It may take some time for the situation to return to normal. So the issue of maintaining fitness is being reminded again and again. There is no opportunity to bowl. Those who have are being given some work,” pacer said, seeking anonymity.
Earlier head coach Russell Domingo had also an online meeting with the players, especially batsmen. Batting coach Neil Mckenzie and fielding coach Ryan Cook were also present at that meeting.
