Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim said that he successfully finished the initial competition of logo-design selection for his own ‘MR15’ foundation.
Rahim also said he will announce the names of the top five winners of the competition within a short possible time.
The veteran keeper-batsman, earlier, announced that he is going to launch his own foundation named ‘MR15’ foundation. Therefore, he announced the concept about his foundation on the day of the completion of a 15 years cricketing career.
Mushfiqur took to his Facebook handle and made the announcement about this competition on 26 May. He also announced that the top five winners will get a chance to have dinner with him in a tip-top hotel.

The veteran wicketkeeper-batsman called down the competition by giving a post on his official Facebook page, stating that he had a good amount of crowd in this competition. Later he said that over 1700 logos have been submitted to him where he will bring out the top five ‘lucky’ winners.
After summing them up, he will contact them and will pitch out a suitable time when they will have dinner with the top logo makers after the pandemic situation of the country improves.
“Hi everyone, the logo design contest has just ended. I am overwhelmed by such creativity and unique logos I have received in the last 1 month. The total submissions have exceeded 1,700 logos which shows how passionate you all are. It was really difficult to choose the best 5 logos, but I am in the process of finalizing them,” Mushfiqur Rahim wrote on his Facebook page.
“I will contact the winners shortly and decide a time for dinner once the pandemic situation improves. Thank you all for so much love and your participation. #MR15,” Rahim added.
In addition, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and Shakib Al Hasan among Bangladeshi cricketers have established their respective foundations and worked through their foundations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mashrafe established his foundation a few years back after his brand name ‘Narail Express Foundation’. Shakib announced the formation of his foundation on the stroke of the coronavirus pandemic and gave its name after his own name ‘The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation’.
Mushfiqur walks in the same path of his national team’s colleagues in a bid to involve more in the society and serve the people of the country as well.
