Chattogram Challengers promising left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed’s mother has passed away today.
Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchise team Chattogram Challengers mourned about the death of Nasum’s mother. They have published this news on their official Facebook page.

Nasum, 25, bowled well in the last edition of the BPL. He took six wickets in 13 matches for Chattogram at an economy rate of 7.26.
His jaw-dropping performance drew the attention of the national selectors as he was called up to the national team for the first time in the two-match T20 series against Zimbabwe last March though he missed to get place in the playing XI.
Even if he did not make his debut for the country, Nasum continues to play domestic cricket regularly. He has played 20 first-class matches so far. At an economy rate of 3.20, he claimed 75 wickets.
Besides, Nasum took 45 wickets in 37 matches in List-A cricket at an economy rate of 4.44. The left-arm spinner has taken eight wickets in 17 T20s so far.
