Goala passes away

Veteran cricketer Ramchand Goala breathed his last on Friday morning at his own residence in Mymensingh.
Ramchand, aged 79 suffered a stroke on June 9 and was admitted to a local hospital but he was released from the hospital two days ago as he was feeling a bit better.
But the improvement of his health did not last long as he again suffered stroke and left for eternity.

Ramchand pledged his life for cricket and did not marry, grandson of his elder brother Pranjal Goala said confirming Cricfrenzy.com about his death.
‘He left us on Friday morning in his sleep. The reason of his death is stroke. We admitted him in Lab Aid hospital Mymensingh after he suffered stroke on June 9. He was released from the hospital as his health slightly improved.’
Born on September 16, 1940 Ramchand played cricket until he was 53.
Ramchand started his professional mission for Panditpara Club in Mymensingh and later played for different clubs in Dhaka for over 20 years.
A left-arm spinner and left-hand batsman Ramchand played as a regular player of Abahani Krira Chakra for 12 years from 1981 to 1993.
He played for national team against a visiting Hyderabad team once but did not play any game against a representative side.
