Cricket Welfare Association of Bangladesh said that they will form committees in 64 districts in order to decentralize their activities as they feel it won’t beneficial unless they reach grass root level.
CWAB official said they are targeting to form committees to make sure they are well aware about cricketing activities of respective districts and take required steps accordingly.
‘’We will make a committee in all the 64 districts,’’ said CWAB member secretary Debabrata Paul.

‘’We will do it in the district first and then in the divisions and already we have made it in Khulna, Jessore, Cox's Bazar, Madaripur, Faridpur, Shariatpur and Kishoreganj is in the process like many others,’’ he said.
‘’We are proposing 17 people including President, Secretary, Vice President, Joint Secretary, our President and Vice President and the Executive Committee has made the decision to have 17 to 19 members in the committee,’’ he said adding it is the first step toward decentralization and he feels if it can work properly they can ensure cricket is played in every district that is not the case at the moment.
''There will be a forum for district cricketers where they will tell their problems. If the people of the district cannot solve the problem or if they need any assistance, they will contact us,’’ said Debabrata.
‘’There are many districts where there is no league for 10 years. There are many such districts. The first thing to do is to protect the interests of the cricketers is to bring back game on the field. What is the job of cricketers if there is no game on the field,’’ he said.
‘’The first task is to have the cricket on the field in every district. Then we can do the survey, we can tell the BCB directly that there are councilors and everything, why there's no game. There should be a league in 64 districts,’’ he added.
