Bangladesh one-day skipper Tamim Iqbal has said that winning matches against world-class Team India provided him most satisfaction as a player in his glistering cricket career.
Citing the names India and Pakistan, who are big cricketing nations with a great tradition of cricket, Tamim also said winning against them is always a big thing for them in cricket.
The matches between Bangladesh and India in the recent past have lived up to its high expectations among the crowds after the Tigers have lost some close matches against their next-door neighbours.

“Beating India is the biggest achievement for us. India is such a strong team, such a big team, victory against them means something else for us,” Tamim Iqbal said in a video interview with former India Sanjay Manjerker.
“I do not think it comes from hate or nothing like we have to beat them,” Tamim said to a leading cricket website espcricinfo.com.
“The satisfaction comes in beating the best team of the world. I think we cherish beating Pakistan as well. India–Pakistan is a big cricketing nation with great cricketing traditions as well. Any win against these the top-flight teams are a big win for us,” he added.
Bangladesh have beaten India only five times in one day matches in their cricketing history and only once in T-20 cricket, the triumph which they did in their last tour in 2019.
The left-handed opening batsman said they are yet to register any win against India in the longer version of cricket and what should be our next target.
