Former Under-19 pacer Ashiqur sustained Covid-19

Ex-National Under-19 fast bowler and current BCB game development pace bowling coach Ashiqur Rahman sustained coronavirus and is currently admitted to hospital.
Ashiqur is the first cricketer who has suffered from coronavirus diseases in the country.

Ashiqur was a coach of the Bangladesh women team in previous years and now involved himself with the game development coaching role and was work as assistant coach prime bank and old Dohs as well
Ashiqur is admitted to Mugda General Hospital today and is quite hopeful to recover soon.
‘’ Got admitted today afternoon. Got the report yesterday and the report says COVID-19 positive. I didn't understand it at first. I thought I swollen tonsil, I had a sore throat at first, then slowly comes fever, then started to have chest pain. I had tonsil about seven days before,’’ Ashiqur told Cricfrenzy.
Ashiqur was part of the 2002 Under-19 World Cup team and currently, the sporting fraternity is praying for his quick recovery.
