Bangladesh national cricket team chief selector Minhajul Abedin said on Saturday that this unwanted break due to coronavirus pandemic will make Tigers
Bangladesh have fallen behind new promoted Test team Afghanistan in the latest Test ranking published on ICC and need to play more test match to improve their Test ranking.
‘’I think this will make them hungrier,’’ said Minhajul.
‘’We had many opportunities to play some Test matches this year but Coronavirus put it in halt. But this break was good from one point, we can start over. I hope we will continue giving it more priority and being more strong mentally’’ Minhajul said
The former Bangladesh skipper feels that this break was necessary for the cricketers to recharge themselves as they were playing nonstop cricket for some time
‘’ Then we got the break. But this break was necessary because we were playing consistently for a long time. So I think players have got an opportunity to recover mentally so i hope they can start it over again’’ he added
Tigers will be hoping this corona pandemic goes away and normal life begins in the world so that again plays their favorite game.
