Apu thanks Tamim and others

Bangladesh left-arm spinner Nazmul Hossain APU has thanked everybody for their support to fight coronavirus pandemic in his home town district Narayanganj

 In Bangladesh, Narayanganj has recorded the most cases for coronavirus patients and every day it is increasing in an alarming rate.

Apu, who was very proactive in helping out the poor people have thanked Bangladesh teammate Tamim Iqbal and his area people as well,

‘’ Tamim Bhai has been with me in the whole activity from the beginning. Apart from this, there is a younger brother in my area who lives abroad is trying his best to support me. Others in the area are also providing 50, 100 Taka according to their ability,’’ said Apu.

‘’We have been distributing relief from the very beginning. Every week we are delivering their daily necessities like rice, pulses, onions, salt, oil. These are nothing too much. These are the only food needed to sustain their daily life. The Ramadan just started in the middle of the corona, so we wanted to arrange something for them where they can eat something good at the time of iftar at least once a day. It won't last the whole month, it's basically for them to have a good meal once a day in these bad times’’ he added
