Nasir, Sohan fifty helps first win for Sheikh Jamal

Nasir Hossain and captain Nurul Hasan Sohan fifties helped Sheikh Jamal Sporting Club beat Khelaghar Shamaj Kalyan Shamity by 55 runs in their first match of Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Division League at Bangladesh Krira Shikha Protisthan 4, Savar.
Sheikh Jamal score 276 in their innings while Khelaghar ended up scoring 219 runs.
Khelaghar Shamaj earlier won the toss and decided to field.
Sheikh Jamal lost former national player Mohammed Asharful for three runs early in the innings.
Md. Saikat Ali played an entertaining innings of 83 runs of 79 balls. He smashed ten four and two six in his innings.
Veteran Nasir Hossain and wicket keeper batsman Sohan shared a 98 runs partnership for the fourth wicket. Nasir scored 56 runs of 57 deliveries with four fours and two six in his innings.

Irfan Hossain was the most impressive bowler for Khelaghar. He picked up four wickets.
Khelaghar never looks to be threaten by Sheikh Jamal when they were batting.
Jahurul Islam top scorer for Khelaghar by his 51 run with five boudries in his innings. Late order batsman Masum Khan Tutul scored 32 run.
Sohrawardi Shuvo, Mohammad Elias and Salauddin Shakil all took two wickets for Sheikh Jamal.
