BCB handed an individual to police for abusing Tamim

Bangladesh Cricket Board handed an individual name Hamidur Rahman (32) to the police from the Grand Stand at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium for improper behavior towards Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal.
The incident happened on Sunday during the first of the three-match ODI series between Bangladesh and visitors Zimbabwe. Tamim following his dismissal returned to the dressing and found himself in the situation.

Chief of Bangladesh Cricket Board security department Hossain Imam confirmed the incident to the media.
“He [Hamidur] was first removed from the stands away by BCB security personals and was then handed over to local police. He was making inappropriate hand gestures to Tamim and was also verbally abusing,’’ said Imam.
“Police will decide the next course of action against the person,” he said.
Tamim in the game scored 43-ball 24 after Bangladesh opted to bat first winning the toss. Bangladesh finished the innings on 321 for 6 boosted with opener Liton Das’ 126 runs. The total is highest Bangladesh’s against Zimbabwe in the format.
