Under 19’s left-arm spinner Hasan Murad was elated to work with Vettori and added that he is looking forward to make the most out of the legendary spinners in the upcoming days. BCB had initiated a move to engage Vettori with spinners who are not in the national dressing room.

Leg spinner Aminul Islam Biplob along with former national star Nazmul Apu along with uncapped off-spinner Tanvir Islam and ICC Under-19 World Cup winning left-arm spinner Hasan Murad- who are not part of the ODI set-up that will face Zimbabwe in the three-match ODI’s series against Zimbabwe, at academy nets for intense training session that lasted from morning till evening.

‘’It was a really good session. It was our first day of practice sessions and he observed our bowling and pointed out the problems. He was showing me variations and telling me about the advantaged of changing bowling position,’’ said Murad.

‘’There is not much change. He is a good bowling coach. I did a couple of sessions with him, they were really helpful outings. He is pointing out the small issues which have had a huge impact overall,’’ he said.

‘’He also helped me work on my release points, variations. He is also helping me in improving my natural variations as well,’’ concluded the young lad.

Leg-spinner Aminul Islam said that being in Vettori’s company is always helpful.

‘’If we are practicing without a coach, it’s not possible for us to know where we are going wrong. If someone observes us bowl then he can point out the issues and suggest some improvements. When he first came I started working with him. He suggested that my hand might be bending a bit too much and told me to try bowling in my earlier stance. This things help out a lot,’’ said Aminul
