Bangladesh off-spinner Mehedy Hasan said on Wednesday that Daniel Vettori is working with him with his variations as he is eyeing to do well abroad so that he can do well abroad.

Mehedy, who is going through rehabilitation for his finger injury, is expecting him to be available in the Bangladesh Cricket League, country’s lone franchise-based first-class tournament from the third round, slated from February 14-17.

‘’When I play outside of the country the condition does not favor me at all but in-home condition the wicket helps. That is why I missed abroad now I am working on to improve on that [bowling well in abroad],’’ he said.

‘’I have talked with Sohel sir Daniel sir as well and I am hoping to play well abroad,’’ he said.

‘’I am working with my variations with Vettori and he had explained to me whether it is better to bowl straight or angle to the batsman. He did not work for a long time with us but in short time he has told me about it,’’ he said.
