BCL Starts tomorrow

The Bangladesh Cricket League, country's line franchise-based four-day tournament starts at Mirpur Sher-a Bangla Stadium and in Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong from tomorrow.
There are only two four-day tournaments for the local cricketers. In BCL four teams participate compare to six teams in NCL.
This year BCL is a single league tournament that used to double league in previous year.

The BCL has been moved forward this year because of the Bangladesh Test in Pakistan and BCB wants Test players to make use of the four-day matches.
In the first round of matches, BCB South Zone will take on BCB North Zone in Chattogram Zohur Ahmed stadium while Islami Bank East Zone will take on Walton Central Zone at SBNS.
The four teams is equally matched for this year's BCL. the cricketer who missed the bip test did not qualify to take part in this year competition. Experienced player Tushar Imran country's highest run-getter in first-class cricket, failed to make a cut in the players’ draft of Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) 2020 after failing to touch the benchmark in beep test.
There was no place for Sabbir Rahman, Abu Hider Rony and Mehedy Hasan Rana, who was one of the stars in the just concluded BPL, in the upcoming BCL.
