Bangladesh Cricket Board decided to pull up their socks after the recent fiasco in the third division cricket as Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis on Tuesday have circulated a letter to the clubs of first and third division stating no one can use electronic gadgets are not allowed in the dressing room apart from the manager.
The decision came as a surprise to club officials as they said that it was totally a new thing for them.
‘’We haven’t received this kind of memo earlier. Probably because of the recent controversy regarding the third division league they have taken this decision,’’ said a club official on request of anonymity.

According to the memo issued by CCDM on December 2 it was stated that players, coaches, officials, team boy and other staff involved during match day(s) are not allowed to use mobile phones or electronic gadgets except team managers during the match day.
A viral video on facebook on November 18 once again put the umpiring irregularities in the country’s domestic circuit on the forefront and imposed questions over Bangladesh Cricket Board’s claims of ridding corruption from the root level.
In a video that made its way to members of the country’s cricketing fraternity, a number of players were seen using foul language while accusing two on-field umpires of making biased decisions to help their opposing team win the match.
Coach, captain and a player of Dhaka Royal Cricketers- a participant of the lower tier competition are all set to receive punishment for misbehaving with the umpires.
‘’We have issued such a memo because we want to uphold the image of country’s cricket,’’ said an official of CCDM
