Nabi to captain Rangpur in BBPL

Former Afghanistan captain Mohammed Nabi will lead Rangpur Rangers in the special edition of BBPL, according to Ranger's Facebook page.
Nabi has retired from Test cricket and now only plays white-ball cricket for his country while he concentrates mostly on playing franchise-based cricket around the world.
Though Nabi never led any side in BPL this is the first time he will be captaining aside in the lone T20 cricket tournament of the country.

He is quite familiar to Bangladeshi wicket as he plays here regularly while he will be in-charge of relatively young Rangers side that will need him to lead from the front.
Rangers are also in talks with Ahmed Shehzad to play for them after Shai hope non-availability for the tournament
BBPL side have started to pick their leaders for the respective side that began after Dhaka Platoon made Bangladesh’s ODI skipper Mashrafe bin Mortaza as their captain.
