Bangladesh’s all-rounder Mahmudullah is likely to be available from the start of Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League, said BCB officials on Sunday.
Mahmudullah is undergoing the rehabilitation program after he suffered a hamstring injury in India but according to BCB medical committed official he is expected to be fit before the start of the BBPL, starting from December 11.

The experienced all-rounder was unable to come out to bat later in the innings after he had to walk off the field while batting after pulling a hamstring injury against India in the second day of the day-night Test match last month in Kolkata.
It was later revealed the 33-year-old had faced a grade 1 hamstring injury which would take at least 14 days to recover.
As Mahmudullah is recovering fast it was learned that the cricketer is expected to start running from tomorrow and if he does not face any problem after starting the running session the cricketer is expected to start batting after that.
‘’Normally it takes 14 days to recover from these types of injury as Mahmudullah faced a grade 1 tier which does not look that serious at the moment. However he is under the supervision of the national team physio Julian Calefato but at the moment Mahmudullah is set to start light running within the next two days,” said a member of the BCB medical committee on Sunday.
‘’He had an ultrasonogram today and there is no sign of severe injury. However before returning to competitive cricket he will need to give a fitness test but with the way he is improving I don’t think that will be a problem for him,’’ he said.
