Bangladesh skipper Shakib al Hasan said that they need to more than two franchise based tournaments in order to develop them in the shortest format.
BCB had initiated a move that suggests a player can take part in two franchise-based T20 competition but according to Shakib that is not enough.
Shakib feels playing in foreign leagues helps the player to grow in lot of ways. The player can learn to perform in a pressure situation and can also to play in foreign conditions that will eventually help the Bangladesh team.

‘’ It would be a big help if our players could play the tournaments outside because those tournaments improve the ability of a player, you won’t know until you play,’’ Shakib was quoted in a private TV channel.
‘’I personally feel like, the rule that we have that our players cannot play more than two foreign leagues, it would be much better if that regulation gets abandoned,’’ he said.
Shakib added that people of Bangladesh need to patient as they are going through a rebuilding process.
‘’Every team goes through building process at some stage. Because our domestic tournaments are not as strong as England or Australia, we need time for that process,;’ said Shakib.
‘’BCB was in a tough time, considering everything. And to turn around from there, time is required. Our fans should have that patient,’’ he said.
“I don’t think it will be ideal to pick one and dropping the other one. It might be for the team but not healthy competition. To trust someone, you have to provide enough opportunities,’’ he said.
