Bangladesh loses their sleep over Mahmudullah calf injury as they are waiting for his scan report to take a decision regarding him.
Mahmudullah was injured while picking up a single and immediately physio Thian Chandramohan arrived at the scene to help him out during their game against Afghanistan at Southampton on Monday.
Chandramohan bandaged most part of his right leg before he padded up again to accompany Mushfiqur Rahim and added 56 valuable runs for Bangladesh.
However, Mahmudullah was seen struggling in the middle due to the cramp that later forced him not to make himself available when Bangladesh gone down to defend the total in the middle.

‘’He will have scan after the match and only after getting scan we can tell you about the severity of it," chief selector Minhajul Abedin told Cricfrenzy on Monday.
Mahmudullah had serious injury scare ahead of the forthcoming World Cup after an MRI report of batsman Mahmudullah revealed a grade-3 tear on his shoulder and as a result he is not bowling in the ongoing tournament.
Mahmudullah had initially injured himself a few months ago but aggravated it during the first Test against New Zealand on the recent tour when he dived on the field twice.
Mahmudullah’s calf injury is the new edition in the list of injuries Bangladeshi cricketers sustained in this World cup.
Tamim suffered from finger injury at the start of the tournament, Saifuddin suffered from a back injury, Mushfiqur Rahim was also injured in hand and Mosaddek Hossain also got injured on his shoulder.
Mehedy Hasan received an injury scare on Sunday when he was hit by a ball during the net-session ahead of their game against Afghanistan, but later it was found out that there was nothing too much to worry about it.
It seems this long World Cup of one and half month have started taking its toll on the players.
