Bangladesh opener Soumya Sarkar said that he is happy to play aggressive cricket and insisted that he is not willing to compromise when his batting process as he believe that is the only way out for him to earn success.
Soumya, who scored 30,22 and 0 in the tour of New Zealand, had been quite a revelation since then as he scored three half centuries in the Ireland tri-nation to provide an indication of returning back to form.
Though he made only 42 runs against South Africa it set the tone for his side as his stroke play helped his teammates get an mental edge over their opponent bowling unit despite their pace and variety.

When asked whether he is disappointed not to make his start count, Soumya replied on a negative tone.
‘’I always try to play my natural game. It can be short or long but as long as I stay I try to help the team reach a comfortable place,’’ said Soumya.
‘’No matter how many runs I score whether it is 10,20 or a hundred it must come for the purpose of the team. It is my personal planning and I always try to play in that manner,’’ he said.
‘’I don’t play to put any opponent under pressure. I try to play my own game and if the ball is pitched on my zone I try to hit those deliveries that eventually help my team. But I always want to bat in the same process,’’ he added.
