Bangladesh cricketer Shakib al Hasan will participate in the upcoming national election for the Magura-1 constituency.
Shakib collected nomination forms for three constituencies to contest the upcoming 12th national election with an Awami League ticket.
Shakib collected the form for Dhaka-10, Magura-1, and Magura-2. However, Dhaka-10 was roped in by actor Ferdous Ahmed.
Meanwhile, BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon was nominated for Kishorganj-6 and former captain Mashrafe Mortaza received the nomination for Narail-2.
As many as 3,362 people have collected nomination papers for the Awami League.
