Due to the coronavirus cricket calendar has been shattered drastically. All cricketing event around the world has been postponed for an indefinite period. No one knows when it will be re-scheduled. Crazy cricket fans around the world are waiting in their home relentlessly, so that they see their favourite team, player to play in the field again. But as the lockdown is going on that can't be happened now. So, for this reason, sports-related organizations are trying to cheer up those fans mood by sharing special cricket stories and quiz, like the International Cricket Council [ICC], has posted a quiz on their twitter account which is related with Bangladesh.

The ICC posted a photo of former New Zealand all-rounder John Reid. The caption reads, "All-rounder John Reid was the first player to have scored a century, taken a five-for and effected a stumping in Test cricket. Can you name the only player to have achieved this triple since."

Many would have answered the right answer before today ICC posted their answer in both Facebook and Twitter today. Mahmudullah Riyad is the next player after Reid who has this achievement in Test cricket. He has four centuries in the Test, also got 5 wickets haul in an innings, In his debut Test in 2009, he took 5 wickets in the second innings against West Indies in Kingston. He also affected a stumping in Test cricket. Mahmudullah is an all-rounder so it is unimaginable to see him behind the stump standing as a keeper. That is also in international cricket.

This unimaginable incident has happened in 2015 Test against Pakistan in Khulna. On the fourth day of the match, Mahmudullah had to stand behind the stump putting on the keeping gloves in hand. Regular wicket-keeper Mushfiqur Rahim was replaced by Imrul Kayes as he was injured at that time. After more than a hundred overs, Kayes was not able to continue as he had to bat in his second innings where eventually he scored a brilliant century (150 runs) for Bangladesh team. He told Mahmudullah, "Someone has to wear (keeping) gloves. I have to bat again. Need to think about this."

Right at that moment, Mahmudullah stands behind the wicket wearing the gloves. Mahmudullah stumped Pakistan's tenth batsman Zulfiqar Babar on the over of Taijul Islam. However, his role was minimal. When Zulfiqar was hit forward, the ball fell to his leg and went to Mahmudullah's pad then hit the stump. Mahmudullah, who is currently out of the Test team, he also caught a catch in that match as a fielder. It is a matter of research whether there is anyone else in the history of Test who stumped as a wicketkeeper and caught a catch as a fielder.

In the history of Test cricket, John Reid and Mahmudullah are the only two cricketers to have a century, five wickets in an innings and a stumping. New Zealand skipper Reid stumped as an alternate wicketkeeper in the Manchester Test in 1958. He took five wickets in an innings and had six centuries in his career.

Just like Mahmudullah, another alternative wicketkeeper has got wicket by stumping for Bangladesh. That too in the debut Test. The first dismissal of Test history for Bangladesh was come by an alternative wicketkeeper. Shahriar Hossain Vidyut stumped India's Saba Karim almost samely in India's first innings at the Bangabandhu Stadium in 2000.

Two more Bangladeshi players have got wicket by stumping as an alternative wicketkeeper like Mahmudullah Riyad and Shahriar Hossain Vidyut they are - Mehrab Hossain Opi and Rajin Saleh.
