Mayers smashed an unbeaten 59 off 31 balls, hitting five fours and four sixes, while Hridoy contributed a blazing 48 off 27 balls, featuring eight fours and two sixes.

Barishal made light work of the modest 126-run target, achieving it in just 10.3 overs.

Earlier, Sylhet were bowled out for 125 with 10 balls to spare, leaving Barishal a target of 126 to chase.

After losing the toss, Sylhet struggled early, losing Rony Talukdar for a duck in the very first over. Rahkeem Cornwall provided a brief spark, smashing 18 runs off 12 balls, but his dismissal halted the momentum.

George Munsey and Zakir Hasan steadied the innings, taking Sylhet to 76/2 at one stage. However, the hosts suffered a dramatic collapse, losing six wickets for just 13 runs, courtesy of a fiery spell from Jahanzaib Khan and Rishad Hossain.

Zakir scored 26 off 26 balls, while Munsey added a brisk 28 off 13. Captain Ariful Islam showed resilience in the lower order, scoring an unbeaten 36 off 29 balls, including one four and three sixes, to push the total to 125.
