Nahid: In wars, you’re bound to get hit; injuries are same in cricket

The topic resurfaced during today’s press conference after Nahid led Rangpur to their fifth consecutive win in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
"Injuries are part of the game. Think of it like going to battle—you’re bound to get hit. As a cricketer, injuries are inevitable. Regarding fitness, I’ve been maintaining it myself while also following the schedules provided by the BCB. Whatever happens, Alhamdulillah, I’ll keep giving my best." Nahid got nine wickets so far.
Though franchise cricket often limits access to national team resources, Nahid revealed he stays in touch with team physiotherapists.
"We have Baizid Bhai as the national team physio, and I stay in touch with him. For Rangpur, we have Sajib Bhai, and I also communicate with him regularly," he said.
"I played my last ODI in the West Indies and then took a break. The BCB has a plan for me to maintain fitness and manage my matches. So far, they’ve told me my bowling is on track, and I feel my body is holding up well. I haven’t received any specific concerns from them."
