The fourth Test, starting tomorrow in Melbourne, will see Saikat serving as the TV umpire.

Saikat, the first and only ICC Elite Panel umpire from Bangladesh, is also scheduled to take on the role of on-field umpire in the fifth and final Test, beginning on January 3 in Sydney.

A former first-class cricketer, Saikat has earned recognition for his dedication and hard work, becoming the first Bangladeshi umpire to officiate in the ODI World Cup in 2023.

He later officiated in the 2023 T20 World Cup and several high-profile Test, ODI, and T20I matches.
