Ahead of the tournament, Durbar Rajshahi has assembled a strong squad for the upcoming BPL season.

The local players include Taskin Ahmed, Anamul Haque Bijoy, Md Jishan Alam, Akbar Ali, Sunzamul Islam, Yasir Ali Chowdhury, Sabbir Hossain, Hasan Morad, Md Shafiul Islam, Mohor Sheikh Antor, and S.M Mehrob Hasan.

The overseas players are Bilal Khan, Mohammad Haris, Arafat Minhaj, Ryan Burl, Saad Naseem, and Lahiru Samarakoon.

The 2025 edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is set to commence on December 30, with the final scheduled for February 7, 2025. The opening match will see Fortune Barishal take on Rajshahi.

The tournament will feature seven teams, and the opening ceremony is slated for December 23.
