Despite the T20I triumph, senior assistant coach Mohammad Salahuddin believes there is significant room for improvement in the shortest format. Speaking to reporters after returning to Bangladesh, Salahuddin acknowledged the team's progress but emphasized the need for rapid development in key areas.

“We still have many weaknesses, but it’s not appropriate to discuss them publicly. Even though we won the T20I series, there are areas where we need immediate improvement. I don’t think we should take too much time addressing them,” Salahuddin remarked.
Having previously served as Bangladesh’s fielding and assistant coach from 2006 to 2010, Salahuddin noted a change in the players’ mindset.

“I don’t see much difference in motivation compared to the past. The players seem highly driven and aware that Bangladesh doesn’t belong at its current level. They realize the need to elevate themselves. With the right guidance, I believe they can achieve great things,” he added.
