“Soumya sustained a cut injury on his right index finger while fielding, which required five stitches. An X-ray conducted after the match revealed a subluxation in the affected area. His recovery is expected to take around three to four weeks.”

This injury sidelines Soumya for the immediate future, including the third and final T20I of the series and potentially the start of upcoming Bangladesh Premier League.
