Bangladesh's former spin-bowling coach Rangana Herath has refused to extend his contract with the team following the end of the two-year deal.
According to Cricbuzz, BCB cricket operations chairman Jalal Yunus informed the reporters following a meeting of the foreign coach recruiting committee that Herath has decided to discontinue and won't get involved in Bangladesh cricket.
"Herath is not with us. The offer we made to him (Herath) he did not accept and so he is no more with us," Yunus told the media.

BCB recently formed a five-member foreign coach recruiting committee that includes two former national captains - Khaled Mahmud and Naimur Rahman - along with BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury and BCB programme head David Moore along with Yunus.
