Bangladesh batter Tamim Iqbal injured his left index finger during practice while facing pacer Taskin Ahmed in the net.
Tamim is going to lead Fortune Barishal in the upcoming edition of BPL, the left-handed batsman left the net immediately after being struck on his finger.
BCB physician Bayedul Islam told Cricfrenzy that the injury was not a cause for concern and the player could resume practice in a few days.
The seven-team-based franchise league is set to kick off on January 19th and the Final will be played on 1st March 2024.
