Bangladesh all-rounder, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, expressed his delight as his company, 'MKS,' stepped forward to sponsor the promising U-19 cricketers ahead of the World Cup.
Miraz and experienced batter Imrul Kayes joined together to start a new venture with Hussain Mohammad Aftab who is a bat technician launched a bat manufacturing business in March last year.
Their company’s name was MKS Sports which is also Bangladesh’s first bat manufacturing company.
Miraz credited his partners for their hardwork and said he was happy to able to sponsor eight players,

“I would like to give credit to Imrul bhai, Azad bhai, Shaheen bhai. I will give special credit to Imrul Bhai. He was after it for a long time. I don't get time to do anything. He established it along with Shaheen Bhai. All three of them did it,” said Miraz.

Miraz also said that he wants to extend their mission to Women’s team and other local cricketers in the future.
“I feel very good. I played Under-19, I played the World Cup, we didn't get such sponsorship at that time. We want to promote local players. Our main goal is to bring the players ahead. Give them a good bat or all. Initially we went for sponsorship. Then we will also move to women's cricket or under-15 or 17. I will advance in BPL too,” he added.
