Ace-allrounder Shakib al Hasan and wicket-keeper batter Litton Das were released from the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) camp ahead of the mini-auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals also released Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman for the next edition.
Shakib and Litton represented the two-time winners Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 2023 edition of the tournament.

Shakib, who went unpicked in 2022, was once again signed by KKR for the subsequent season. However, the seasoned all-rounder withdrew from the tournament without making any appearances due to personal reasons.

Wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das made his IPL debut with KKR in the 2023 season, featuring in a solitary match where he scored four runs and missed out on a stumping opportunity.
Mustafizur Rahman was acquired by the franchise for a base price of Rs 2 crores. However, his lackluster performance, securing just one wicket in two matches at an economy rate of 11.29, limited his playing time in the competition.
Despite their limited participation in the 2023 season, the trio still holds the prospect of being picked up from the auction in future IPL editions.
The mini-auction of IPL 2024 is scheduled to be held on December 19.
