Bangladesh Women's cricket team suffered a five-wicket defeat against Pakistan Women's in the first ODI at the Sher e Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.
Pakistan captain Nida Dar's unbeaten knock of 35 runs guided the side to chase the target of 82 runs in 24.5 overs with five wickets in hand and Aliya Riaz scored 18 runs.
Nahida Akter scalped three for Bangladesh, the spinner posed a threat to Pakistan's top order by taking two quick wickets, but it wasn't enough to stop Nida who single-handedly took the team to the port of the victory.

Earlier, Banglade were bowled out for 81 runs in 31.5 overs after opting to bat. Bangladesh were skittled for their fifth-lowest total in one-day cricket.

Pakistan spinners dominated the pitch as left-arm spinner Sadia Iqbal took four and off-break bowlers Nida Dar and Umm-e-Hani accounted for three wickets each.
Fahima Khatun scored the innings-highest 18 for Bangladesh.
The Tigresses had come into the series on the back of a 2-1 series win in T20Is against Pakistan.
