Former Bangladesh Under-19 World Cup-winning strength and conditioning coach Richard Stonier is vying to return to Bangladesh with the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Stonier, who has worked in various franchise leagues around the world is hoping to coach any of the BPL teams scheduled to be held in January next year.

“You know what? What will be will be. And people know where I am. I would love to return to Bangladesh (with BPL). So we'll see. People know if people want me. I'll be here waiting and maybe 2024 is a new year for me personally. Let's see,” Stonier told to Cricfrenzy.
“I'm unique. I'm energetic. I love installing change in people and players, and maybe I can install a little bit more change soon in Bangladesh. So let's see,” he added.
Stonier started working as a trainer in Bangladesh's high-performance unit in July 2018 and changed the attitude of the players drastically. He has a reputation for tidy work and friendly behavior and is also famous as Pagla Bhai in Bangladesh.
As a fitness trainer, he won the Under 19 World Cup for Bangladesh and helped Lahore Qalanders to win PSL. He recently worked with Bangla Tigers in the Abu Dhabi T10 Cricket League.
He also worked in the Pakistan domestic league for SUI Southern Gas and APL for Kandahar Knights.
