Performance analyst Shrinivas making the most in Covid-19 break

Bangladesh’s analyst Shrinivas Chandrasekaran said that the coronavirus pandemic situation has come as a blessing in disguise for him, giving the Chennai based performance analyst a chance to review his analysis in this due time.
Shrinivas is staying in his resident in Chennai currently and working from his home for the Bangladesh cricket.
He plays an essential part behind all the plans and strategies formulated by the Bangladesh team based upon previous data of the cricketers.
Talking from his Chennai residence, Shrinivas said that the home quarantine situation is somewhat helping him to find out more about the players. As he got enough time left to complete his work.
“This is a good break as well to revalue all the process that we have been trying to implement as a team and also for individual players as well. In the middle of a series, it is difficult to implement or execute these processes. Now we have enough time and one can have a conversation with them. When things get back to normal, they will have enough time to look back and work on it. So it’s been kind of good break as well." Shrinivas said that.
The analyst also said that his works get a little bit complicated when he had to work in the middle of a series and had to travel continuously. And now he is trying to reach player by player and providing his assistance to them as much as he can for the betterment of the players.
"When you are in the middle of a series and travelling continuously, it becomes difficult to pinpoint the actual aspects of the game. Now with this time, you don’t know what’s going to happen next. In that case, I am using this to go player by player, all the players I know and trying to help them out whichever way possible." He added.
Shrinivas also said that they are now working on the game plan for the team. And for the further progression, they are in need of a discussion with the coach.
"This time we can work on our game plan. For example, Bangladesh as a team always have a game plan. Evaluating how we proceed. We are watching how we can improve in every little aspect of the game and understanding whether we are progressing in the right direction or not. That needs discussion with the coach,’’ he said.
"It’s good that we have got this break though it came in an unfortunate manner. But we are trying to use it in the best possible way,’’ he said.
