Bangladesh white ball batting consultant Neil Mckenzie said that Liton Das knows his batting role in the squad.
Liton played for Bangladesh at the Under-19 World Cups in 2012 and 2014 and got his international cap in 2015 against India.

Liton has been with the national team for five years but until the home series against Zimbabwe the right handed opener failed to deliver on consistent basis.
The last ODI series of Bangladesh against Zimbabwe Liton named him as the top ODI scorer for Bangladesh team with his 176 from 143 deliveries with 16 boundaries and eight over the rope shots and what was more encouraging was that Liton in his last five ODI has a strike rate of 111.96 with an average of 73 runs.
"It was pleasing to hear someone say all that. International cricket is a tough place for a young player. Five years may seem a lot, but it is not a lot of game time if you are in and out of the team. Russell [Domingo, head coach] has said that nobody is getting a chance [just] to tick a box, but to prove or be given the best chance to succeed. Liton has repaid the faith of the selectors. With consistency comes maturity. I don't know which one comes first, really." Neil Mckenzie was quoted in a leading cricket website recently.
"He looks like he knows what he wants to do. He knows his role in the team. He is a talented player with flair, who likes to play his shots. But you can't play all the shots all the time. You have to be selective and clever. International cricket is about adapting to situations, changing your game on certain surfaces and against different players. He looks like he has found something in his game." Mckenzie concluded.
