Bangladesh Cricket Board is confident that they will less affected compared to other boards due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Just like other sports, all major cricketing events and tournaments have been halted for the last two months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

And according to a report by The Times of India (TOI), should there be no cricket played between now and the end of the year, it will lead certain cricket boards Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh, Pakistan and South Africa -- to sizable and inevitable bankruptcy.
‘’Definitely there will be a financial setback due to this [coronavirus]. However, we do not have a lot of revenue generating events in the near future and hence the BCB will be less affected compared to other boards. I think the BCB is in a bit more comfortable position in this regard," said BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury on Friday.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), who sold their world media rights for approximate 170 crore, Taka, for six years in 2014, are due to renew their broadcast deal in this month, reported TOI.
Meanwhile, the report by TOI also mentioned that the broadcast rights of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), held by Ten Sports have already come to an end. Cricket South Africa (CSA) have a standing arrangement to host a three-match India series later this year which is also now uncertain.
And if cricket remains absent for the next six months, all these boards are due to face a massive economic and financial failure.
