After whitewashing Zimbabwe in the one day series in the Sylhet division Bangladesh cricket team has arrived in Dhaka safely in late afternoon on Saturday.
Bangladesh have comprehensively beaten Zimbabwe in two of the three one day international before Zimbabwe scare them in the second ODI which also Bangladesh won.
Bangladesh team is scheduled to play two T-20 matches against Zimbabwe on March 9 and 11 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur.
This Sylhet series will be remembered for a long time in the memories of Bangladesh cricket fans because captain fantastic Mashrafe Mortoza has announced his captaincy retirement in this series and many feel this will be the last time he is in Bangladesh colors.
Two opening batsman Tamim Iqbal and Liton have scored equal two centuries in this series.liton also scored the highest individual runs for Bangladesh. He smashed 176 in his last innings. Liton was the highest run-getter for Bangladesh in this series with 311 runs in three matches while Tamim Iqbal just one runs less than him in three matches. He scored 310 runs in three matches.
Mohammed Saifuddin also bowled with lot of fire and pace in the two matches he played for his country.
Bangladesh cricket fans will hope that Bangladesh one day can show this performance against Pakistan in the only one day they are scheduled to play on April 1.
