League leaders Khulna Division is firmly on course of their second victory while Rangpur sniffed their first victory after the completion of the third day of the third round of National Cricket League (NCL) Tier-1 at different venues across the country on Monday.
Khulna vs Dhaka
Following his brilliant 126 in the first innings, opener Anamul Haque Bijoy remained not out on 61 in second innings as Khulna ended the day three on 145-2, taking overall 200 runs lead against Dhaka Division at the Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium, Ground-1, in Cox’s Bazar.
Imranuzzman struck 68 before being dismissed. Imran and Anamul combined for 106-run for the second wicket stand after Khulna lost the opener Robiul Islam Robi for naught.

Before the bails were drawn for the day, Tushar Imran was batting on 16 alongside Anamul, who smashed six fours and one six in his 122 ball-61.
Earlier resuming the day on 206-2, Dhaka added 110 to their overnight total to be all out for 316, conceding a 55 runs lead.
Off-spinner Mahedi Hasan (4-92) and veteran left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak (3-72) shared seven wickets between them to derail Dhaka.
Khulna was bowled out for 371 in its first innings.
Rajshahi vs Rangpur
In another Tier-1 game, Rajshahi squandered the chance to dominate Rangpur after a batting collapse in the second innings at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium, Ground-2, Cox’s Bazar. They ended the third day on 129-6, taking just 56 runs with four wickets remaining against Rangpur.
Juanid Siddique was the top-scorer for the side with 34 while Shakhir Hossain made 29. Before the bails were drawn, Muktar Ali was batting on 19 with Sunzamul Islam on 2.
Resuming the day on 263-6, Rangpur was bowled out for 274 runs, adding just 9 runs with the rest of the four wickets. That still gave them 73 runs lead but it was not as bigger as it was expected. That gave Rajshahi the chance to bounce back in the match. However they failed to take the advantage and a defeat looked imminent.
