Australia team management has firm belief that the opener David Warner will be fit ahead of their World Cup opening match against Afghanistan.
The explosive batsman missed Australia's final World Cup warm-up match against Sri Lanka on Monday after suffering from tightness in his upper leg.
Warner only batted in the training session on Wednesday morning in Bristol ahead of Australia's opening game of the tournament on Saturday. However he didn’t take any part in the fielding drills.

Australian medical team also took cold and wet weather into consideration, as the temperatures were around 8 degree Celsius.
They ensured that there is no concern regarding warner’s fitness and he is fit to play the opening match against Afghanistan.
Usman Khawaja has starred in the opening role alongside captain Aaron Finch in recent months. He suffered pain knee and limped off the field. Later on he scored 89 runs against Sri Lanka.
Khawaja said earlier that he is not worried about his batting position against Afghanistan.
"I'm in a place in my life and my career where I'm really enjoying my cricket," he said.
"It's a World Cup, I'm going to do my best whatever I have to do, whether I'm playing, whether I'm not playing, I want to do my best,” Khawaja said.
