The legend of death over bowling Lasith Malinga was seen teaching slow bowling tips to Australian all-rounder Marcos Stoinis. The battle of the best will start from May 30 but that doesn’t mean there isn't time for passing on advice between opposition players.  

Slower ball is one of the best weapon in Malinga’s arsenal. Slower ball is the best option to pick up wickets nowadays. In IPL final Lasith Malinga picked up the precious wicket of Shardul Thakur with the slower ball and delivered championship to Mumbai Indians for the fourth time. 

Australian all rounder Marcos Stoinis has been seeking Malinga’s advice since the IPL. Stoinis played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Malinga played for Mumbai Indians in the IPL.  Seems like Malinga has taken Stoinis under his wings and gave him some tips about slower ball after the practice match against Australia. Malinga believes cricket will move forward to the next level like this.

 “In limited over’s cricket variation is very important. In the time of IPL Stoinis wanted to learn how I ball the slower balls. And I wanted to teach him. Cricket will move forward like this. “

 “I will teach anyone who wants to learn from me. I will teach, how to bowl the slower ball, in which situation you have to bowl that and why do you want to bowl this ball.”  Malinga told the reporters.

Malinga thinks Cricket has become a batsman’s game nowadays. But bowlers can still turn a match on its hills. So, bowling skills are very important.  
 “Your skill is above everything then you have to understand the game. Bowlers have to do these two things very carefully. Cricket is a batsmen game but bowlers can change the course of the match. “ Said Malinga.
