T20 match between Belgium and Germany! Aren’t you a little surprised? This two countries are normally known for their skills in the football field rather than their power hitting in the cricket pitch.
But the fact is, a three match T20 series has been taking place in Belgium between Belgium and Germany. Two of the T20 matches took place at the 11th May, Germany won their first match by 9 runs and their second match by 57 runs. But the most surprising fact is that there was just one hour break between these two matches. The third and final T20 match will take place on the 13th May at the Royal Brussels Cricket Club Ground, Waterloo.

Icc is trying to make cricket a global sports like Football. For this they are trying to reach as many countries as possible. Recently they have given a T20 ranking of top 80 countries. In this ranking Germany is sitting on the 36th position and Belgium is 45th. So, this series will certainly help the winner to climb up the ranking ladder.
Most of the players from these two countries are emigrants from South Asian countries. If we look closely in their squad we will perceive this very clearly. In football we know almost every player from Belgium and Germany, but in cricket how many of them do you know?
