We need to acclimatize with surface, not cold- Mckenzie

Bangladesh batting coach Neil McKenzie said that Tigers need to get accustomed with the surface rather than losing their sleep over cold in order to succeed in Ireland and England.
Bangladesh began their campaign in the Ireland on the wrong foot as they lost to Ireland A by 88 runs in their only practice game ahead of the tri-nation in involving Ireland and West Indies.

‘’We have obviously come back from New Zealand, but it wasn’t as cold there, the experienced guys know whatever it takes to play in different condition, I don’t think it’s the cold, its mainly the surfaces. Your line change, length change and also your scoring opportunities change,’’ McKenzie told reporters after the warm-up match when his attention was drawn regarding the getting used to cold.
‘’It’s not the weather it’s more the surface, the pitch condition and the various type of bowlers you will be facing,’’ he said.
The cold weather that is prevailing in Ireland came into the spotlight from the day Bangladesh arrived to play the tri-nation that is considered to be their last preparing ground ahead of the global tournament- ICC World Cup.
While they practiced in the hot and humid condition in Dhaka they were surprised by the chilling weather in Ireland that goes to down to two degree at night while remains in the bracket of 10 to 11 degrees in the day time.
While Bangladeshi bowlers lacked clarity with their line and length that forced them to leak 307 runs in the 50-over affair their batsmen did not come any good either as they were all out for 219 runs to earn the morale shattering defeat.
