Can Bangladeshi batsmen cope up with the foreign condition remains to be seen as they begin their campaign for the tri-nation in Ireland, their last preparation campaign for the upcoming World Cup.

Bangladeshi batsmen need to come up with a proper plan of action in order to succeed in such condition as they are going to face different kind of adversity that includes coping with the chilling cold as well as batting in a relatively seam friendly wicket.

Tiger’s performance in their last ODI series against New Zealand was abysmal as they were unable to cope against the pace of Tim Southee and Neil Wagner and their technique came into question every now and then.

Both West Indies and Ireland have a formidable pace attack and the host also gave World best ranked team England a run for their money only that proves if they are taken lightly it can make any side pay dearly.

Dublin’s temperature was around 11 degree celcius for the last couple of days and the weather will is likely to remain the  same and according to team management it has been a major area of concern as they travelled there coming from totally different atmosphere.

‘’I think it will take time to adjust when you go to a different condition and that will be the key if we want to earn success ,’’ first Test coach of Bangladesh Sarowar Imran told Cricfrenzy when his attention.

‘’Your body movement will be slightly different until you totally adjust with the condition and so we always emphasis on the importance of adjusting with the weather whenever we are travelling abroad,’’ he said.

Bangladesh will also have to cope up with the pace attacks of west Indies and Ireland. West Indies have some of the best fast bowlers in their team like Shanon Gabrial, Kemar Roach, ST Cotterel and Jason Holder.

Bangladeshi batsman’s suffered a lot against them even in our home condition, one can just imagine how will they trouble our batsman in the Irish condition.

Ireland also have a young left arm fast bowler named JB Little in their squad who took four wickets in his debut. He can also trouble our batsman’s in this unknown condition.

‘’I think both the teams have quite a good number of good pace bowlers and the problem with Ireland is that we are not very accustomed with them considering we do not play them too often,’’ said Sarowar.

‘’And when that is the case you cannot prepare against them[ Ireland] without seeing them closely. Like someone who debuted against England and picked four wickets will be a complete stranger to us and we need to make up our mind about how to tackle him only after seeing him in the match,’’ he added.

Bangladesh’s batting is mainly dependent upon the four Musketeers of Bangladesh: Tamim,Shakib,Mushfiq and Mahmudullah. But in order to do well in Ireland young players like Liton,Soumya and Sabbir will have to step up their game.

It's the first Europe tour of Liton, Soumya and Sabbir have played in England but their average is very poor. sabbir played four matches in the champions league and his average is just 14.75, in the same number of matches Soumya 34 runs with an average of just 8.75 runs per game.

Most of the pitches in England and Ireland are batting friendly with good pace for the bowlers. In order to do well we must play pace well.

And for this good footwork is very necessary. Batting, in a nutshell, is about moving the body in reaction to a moving ball.

The batsman must go to the pitch of the ball to meet the ball. Its necessary to reduce the gap between bat and bowl to play in this condition.

‘’I think you cannot do well unless you are performing as a batting unit,’’ said Sarowar.

‘’The young crops of players that you have mentioned already passed couple of years in the national dressing room so you cannot tell them completely new at international arena,’’ he said.

We need to play the ball close from the body as playing away will open chances against the swinging deliveries that will test our batsmen technique,’’ he said.
