Cricket Ireland has penned its first multi-year media-rights deal with Total Sports Marketing (TSM). The deal covers Ireland men’s cricket team’s home fixtures in the current ICC Future Tours Program (FTP) between 2019 and 2022. It will also ensure coverage of Irish men’s international cricket in many of the key cricket markets.
Cricket Ireland CEO Warren Deutrom said: “This deal is yet another signal that Irish cricket is rapidly growing in stature and profile around the world, and that the quality and quantity of matches coming up over the next four years will attract significant global interest.”

“This is the first time that Cricket Ireland is engaging directly with the broadcast rights market and is another welcome development arising from our elevation to Full Member status of the ICC, and entry into the future tours program.”
As per the FTP (2018-2023), Ireland are scheduled to play 13 Test matches, 64 ODIs, and 65 T20Is and in this period they will face all Test-playing nations except for Australia.
“We look forward to working closely with Cricket Ireland to create an innovative and exciting cricket experiences for the fans and stakeholders, and help take the Cricket Ireland brand to a bigger global audience,” said Md Moinul Haque Chowdury, CEO of TSM.
TSM, Bangladesh’s first global sports marketing agency, was also awarded the worldwide media-rights for Afghanistan Cricket Board-hosted international cricket matches – including fixtures in the ICC FTP – and domestic tournaments for a period of five years from 2018 to 2023.
In 2015, TSM signed an eight-year broadcasting deal with Zimbabwe Cricket as well.
