India win against Pakistan

And so we now know the two finalists of the U19 World Cup. India
took on Pakistan in the semi-final of the tournament and absolutely thumped
them. India batted first as openers Prithvi Shaw and Manjot Kalra gave them a
stunning start.
The duo formed a partnership of 89 before captain Shaw
departed. Soon after, Kalra too followed him to the pavilion and then it was
the show of Shubham Gill. The youngster faced 94 balls and made an unbeaten 102
runs to power his team to 272.
He was helped by some cameo innings from Harvik Desai and
Anukul Roy, who made 20 and 33 runs each, to help India reach that target.
The Pakistan bowlers did decently in most parts as Arshad
Iqbal and Muhammad Musa took 3 and 4 wickets each, but were expensive in their
forays. Shaheen Afridi also took a wicket to restrict the Indians to under 300.

Little did they know that even a score of under 200 would have
sufficed for the Boys in Blue as Pakistan came and fell for a mere 69 runs.
Only Rohail Nazir, Saad Khan and Muhammad Musa reached double figures as they
made 18, 15 and 11 runs each.
The Indian bowlers were on fire as Ishan Porel took 4 wickets,
Shiva Singh and Riyan Parag took 2 each and Abhisheh Sharma and Anukul Roy took
one apiece to desecrate the Pakistani youngsters and gift their team a mammoth
203 runs victory.
India will now play Australia in the final.
