Geoff Marsh is a proud dad

Having your sons play for the national team is a matter of
pride in itself. On top of that, if they score centuries in the same game and
in the same innings, it is perhaps the greatest moment for any dad.
Yes, of course, we are speaking of Geoff Marsh here. The
Australian has a century in the Ashes and now both of his sons have bettered
him with two centuries each in the Ashes. And he admitted he bathes in pride
due to that.
Indeed, being a father means that he is more nervous about
his sons performances than they themselves.

"It is a very proud moment for our family. Like all
parents, you are nervous and having two sons, I get twice as nervous.
"Shaun was fine overnight. Being on 98, every player is
thinking about the next two runs in your sleep. And yes, you have to start
again in the morning which is always a slight worry. The important thing is to
win the game and contribute to the team," Geoff added.
The Marsh brothers’ century and Khawaja’s mammoth 171 helped Australia beat their nemesis 4-0 in the Magellan Ashes series.
