Mohammed Mithun called up as Bangladesh announce squad


Bangladesh have announced their 16-man squad and surprisingly, Sabbir Rahman has made it to the final squad. After being banned from domestic cricket for 6 months, his participation in the upcoming series was in doubt, but he has been called up by the selectors.
Meanwhile, Soumya Sarkar has been excluded from the final 16 owing to his poor form. Anamul Haque Bijoy has been called up for the series and is in line to make his first appearance for the Tigers in ODI since 2015.

The other surprise inclusions is Abul Hasan Raju. Here is the full list of the squad.
Mashrafe Mortaza (captain), Shakib Al-Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah Riyad, Tamim Iqbal, Anamul Haque Bijoy, Mohammad Saifuddin, Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mohammed Mithun, Nasir Hossain, Sabbir Rahman, Imrul Kayes, Abul Hasan Raju and Sanjamul Islam.
These are the 16 players entrusted with the task to uphold Bangladesh's glory in the tri-nation.
