Bangladesh HP continues domination over Sri Lanka in rain-marred day

Bangladesh High Performance (HP) team kept visiting Sri Lanka Emerging team at bay on day three, which was largely affected by the rain at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on Thursday.
By the end of the day, Sri Lanka reached 190-6, resuming the day on 101-4. Ashen Bandara was batting on 57 with Chamika Karunaratne on 8.

Sri Lanka are still trailing by 170 runs.
Bandara rescued the side from precarious state after Sri Lanka were reduced to 59-4. He and Promod Maduwantha then shared a 82-run partnership for the fifth wicket stand to steady the innings.
Maduwantha however was dismissed for 40 after Tanvir Islam got the better of him. Shafiqul Islam then removed Ramesh Mendis for 18 to make Sri Lanka six down before rain interrupted the proceeding of the game.
However 49 overs out of 90 was possible on the day.
Bangladesh HP earlier was bowled out for 360 after Nazmul Hossain Shanto made a superb 133.
